The Technodolly gives a new look VFX camera cranes.
It is by far the most versatile VFX camera crane in the world. While the Technodolly can do flawless repeat moves, it can also be used as regular 15 foot Technocrane. This saves time changing out cranes while saving production on the need to hire another crane and more crew.
The Technodolly is also grip friendly. Grips that are already familiar with Technocranes have little trouble transitioning to the Technodolly's grip friendly procedures. Our crew of 2 will provide the grips a few specific Technodolly instructions, but for the most part they get it.
It is also quiet. Most repeat/motion control cranes are loud, but the Technodolly is as quiet of a repeat crane as you will find.
Features
Telescopic Arm- The arm of the Technodolly telescopes up to 10'
60' of Track-The Technodolly can be run on up to 60' of track, or no track at all. Track comes in 10' sections.
Easy Programming-Camera moves are programmed via keyframing, push-to-learn or sometimes a combination of the two. Paul will work with the technician and DP to decide the best method for each shot.
Timecode Triggers-The Technodolly can be triggered with timecode to sync with playback or lights for flawless effects shots.
FBX-Technodolly can export FBX files to your post production facilities for easy integration to their 3D worlds.
Streaming Data-Technodolly can export move data in real time allowing for live viewing of the camera view with a 3D background.
